Preparations

Preparations are in full swing and the raingear has arrived!

Pete has received a 6-month leave of absence from his work (which hopefully can be extended!) - this has been great news for us. On an unfortunate note, Alyssa broke her ankle last week and now is forced to wear the "robo-boot". The doctors assure us she will ready to go by trip time, but she may have to curtail a few nights of jigging in Dublintown.

Also, Pete's parents made the journey from West Virginia this weekend to pay us a Bon Voyage visit -- it was a great time.
