We've come down to the final week! Our trip-prep has faced a bitter-sweet interruption as we journeyed to Seattle this weekend for Alyssa's Grandma's funeral. It was very sad to see her go, but it was nice to have a chance to see the Pacific NW and CA branches of the family again before we leave.

Alyssa's ankle is healing up nicely -- down to an aircast now -- and Pete is strengthening up the legs with some fully-loaded "test hikes".

Looking forward to a week of reservation confirmations, selling our car, and finishing things off at work...
