Bad Oeynhausen

We arrived at Heinz & Irene's (distant cousins of Alyssa) at the end of August. They took us all around the Bad Oeynhausen area: hot spring baths, canals bridging over rivers, a wine festival and a big autumn fest in Minden. Irene also brought us along for her Women's Choir outing (boat trip, etc.) -- Pete managed to handle being the only guy on the trip. We really enjoyed our time here and we were spoiled rotten. Got to talk a lot about family, politics and the local area (and root for Germany and the USA in the US Open (Haas v. Blake) - we lost). Other big news: Pete finally got a hair cut!
