Berlin and beyond

We returned from Berlin a few days ago and had a great time. We stayed with another one of Alyssa`s cousins, Michael, in a very colorful/punk neighborhood on the east side. We managed to pack in lots of sights - Reichstag, Holocaust Memorial, Check Point Charlie, East Side Gallery, etc...wish we had more time!

We also made a trip out to Potsdam and toured the grand palace of Frederich the Great. Quite a guy!

We are closing out our time here in Germany as we leave for southern Switzerland on Sunday. We will be volunteering on another farm for a couple weeks in the Alps, picking grapes...doesn`t seem too bad:)
